At Tartufotto there's a pleasant Tuscan atmosphere mixed with the inebrating smell of truffles. The cosy restaurant is signed by Cristiano Savini, heir of the Savini Tartufi in Forcoli, next to Pisa.
In an urban-chic environment you can taste sophisticated specialties which mix the truffles in precious, yet affordable, dishes. There aren't many entries on the menu, but each one is carefully prepared: smart dishes with special products.
Some must-try: tagliolini with white truffles, pumpkin velvet with balsamic vinegard, amaretti biscuits and black truffle, and then again the Caesar salad with Savini anchovies, Tuscan prosciutto and goat cheese.
Also, casserole eggs with Parmisan flakes, and a special dish called My potato, made of egg, Savini butter potato and fondue of truffle goat cheese. Last but not least, here you can buy the delicious truffle products by Savini.
