Museum Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan

One of the most important and world famous museums in Italy

In the artsy and historic quarter of Brera is located one of Italy's most relevant museums. The Pinacoteca di Brera hosts a vast collection of works, only a fraction of which can be on public display at any time. Among the artists featured, early masters such as Piero della Francesca, Andrea Mantegna and Raffaello Sanzio, Flemish painters Rubens, Van Dyck and Rembrandt and modern authors like Modigliani and Braque. The gallery is housed in the same 18th century building as Milan's Academy of Fine Arts.
