Museum Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan

In the heart of the city, Italian paintings from the 15th century and precious books

Annexed to the eponymous library, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is located in the very city centre, few steps from the Duomo. While its main nucleus is based on sacred art, the collection ranges from the Middle Ages to the mid 16th century, also including paintings such as Caravaggio’s Basket of Fruit and Titian’s Adoration of the Magi, as well as Leonardo Da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus.
