Exhibition Codex Atlanticus in Milan

Leonardo Da Vinci's drawings on display in the Bramante's Sacristy and at the Biblioteca Ambrosiana

Executed by Leonardo between 1478 and 1519 and ranging in subject from weaponry to hydraulics, from mathematics to cosmology, the Codex Atlanticus is partially preserved in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Every four months, a selection of sheets from the precious masterpiece are on public display in the ancient Federiciana Room. A second section of folios can be found in the Bramante's Sacristy, a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture located in the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
