Church Duomo in Milan

The iconic cathedral in the heart of the City

Taking more than four centuries to construct, the Duomo is a majestic gothic curch as well as the world's third largest cathedral. Inside its pink-hued, white marble walls, visitors can admire stained-glass windows, towering pillars, sculptures and paintings.

From the roof terrace one can have an amazing panoramic view of the city as well as take a closer look to the pinnacles and the Madonnina (little Holy Mary), the gilded copper statue which is also one of the city's most renowned symbols. The cathedral's history is documented in the nearby Museo del Duomo.
