Galleria d'Arte Moderna GAM in Milan

The neoclassical Villa Reale is home to Milan's Modern Art Gallery

One of the city's most important Neoclassical monuments, Villa Reale is home to the Museo dell'Ottocento, also known as the Galleria di Arte Moderna (GAM). The collection features paintings, frescoes, sculptures, furniture pieces and chandeliers. On display, significant works such as Portrait of Alessandro Manzoni by Francesco Hayez, the Two Mothers by Giovanni Segantini, and Giorgio Morandi's still life paintings. There are also works by Divisionist artist Previati and De Dragon.
